Crafted for Extreme Mobility – shouts the YouTube account that posted the video. VAIO X Series is coming this Autumn. Noteworthy improvements on the line includes an upgrade to CULV internals and well, thinner and more gorgeous look.

Sony has announced a firmware update to the next PS3. The update called v2.70 has new features such as Text Chat. This new feature will enable the user to communicate online with his PlayStation Network friends.

Using the Wireless Keypad, on screen keyboard or other compatible keyboards, up to 15 friends can be chatted simultaneously. The Text Chat can also be accessed while the user is playing his PS3 games. Up to three chat rooms can be participated in by the user at the same time.

Sony has declined Sony Ericsson usage of the PlayStation brand. The company planned to develop the PlayStation brand into a phone called the PSP Phone. Since the success of the CyberShot and Walkman series of handsets, Sony Ericsson had its eyes set on the popularity of the game franchise.

Many sources have revealed that this dejection has resulted into a fallout between the two companies as well as a rumor that Sony will only permit the use of their brand when the company will make handsets on their own. This means a complete separation from the Ericsson partnership.
