While Apple wants to extend the function of iPhone into a laptop modem, onother company is showing the same love for the gadget. A new device that turns your iPhone into a little something more is released earlier today. This is FastMac’s iV for iPhone. It is a battery booster, flashlight and gadget charger rolled into one.

The iV gives extended battery life for your iPhone. According to the maker FastMac, it grants your iPhone an extended 24 hour of talk time, 72 hours of audio playback, 21 hours or video playing and 750 hours of standby time. Those numbers are far more than what standard iPhone battery allows your unit to have.

FastMac’s iV can be recharged thru standard USB ports. It also has an LED light that can be used as a flashlight.

FastMac iV is available for $80.
