IBM Creates Human Computerized Voice

IBM experts have created a technology which will be used on telephone helplines and satellite navigation systems. Studies have shown that companies sometimes lose customers because they do not like to listen to an automated voice. Now wouldn’t it be much better to feel like you’re talking to a real human other than listening to the annoying monotone voices we have been accustomed to?
Unlike the monotone computerized voices, the inventors of IBM have programmed the voice to include verbal pauses such as ‘ers,’ ‘sighs,’ and ‘ums.’ Not only that, the device is also capable of pausing or coughing in order to get the attention of the users. The software will even be capable of reacting to human situations when it is told ‘sshh.’
